Using YOU and updates

I acquired Suse 9.2 and installed it over the weekend. This is my first time with this distro as I have been an avid Slack user for a while. I installed about 5.2 gigs of software. Wowsers!

I am on dial-up, so updates are just about impossible for me. However, a friend on broadband downloaded the entire updates repository for me and burned them to 2 cd's.

Is there a way to get YOU to use a local (my hard drive) source for updates?
