USB detection problem
I've a strange probelm after a clean format and installtion of SUSE linux 9.1 pro. Ealier when i plugged my usb flash thumbdrive it detects and show the files quickly. Now after doing a fresh installtion it takes a little while to detect it and it sometimes take long time to show the files inside there. Sometimes it hangs also. What can be the exact reason for this? My thumbdrive is formatted in fat16 under windows xp. I use it in the office in a windows XP ro systtem and in home with SUSE 9.1 pro.
I can't figure out whay is give so much problem likes this after a fresh installtion. |
You may need to run YOU to install some updates and fixes. There were a couple of hotplug fixes.
But the best solution in my opinion is to refrain from using submount. See: http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2004/0...rom_subfs.html |
