update has messed up X


i recently updated a few things when zypper told me to ....
but after rebooting (a few days later) X crashes on startup. leaving me at tty1

i recompiled my Nvidia driver as i have to after a kernel update but that has not fixed the problem

startx also fails,

i redirected the output of startx to a file and this is waht i got...

Did you install using the .sh file from the nvidia website?
