Unable to view/recover desktop display
I am currently running SUSE 9.3. Everything was find until I attempted to modify the Firewall and ETC file settings trying to get my remote control to work. Now when I boot I do not get the x in the center of the screen and it goes to "Login" prompt. I tried booting in safe mode and then logged in as root and used sax2 however, all I get is a blank screen. I also went thru the "Repair" that came with the distro but no avail.
Can anyone help me get my desktop back without having to re-install. Thanks in advance |
Exactly which files were you modifying?
