Unable to download from within Firefox (only!)

Hi,

I am unable to download anything from within a bultin Firefox on a SUSE10 fresh installation.

On the other hand, downloads run smoothly from Konqueror.

Things like the following are being logged:
=========================================================
vectra kernel: SubDomain: REJECTING w access to /home/runcis/bin/fp-linux-ws.rpm (firefox-bin(14824) profile /opt/MozillaFirefox/lib/firefox-bin active /opt/MozillaFirefox/lib/firefox-bin)
=========================================================

14824 runs under my username, I have permissions on my home. ;)
Actually, at some point, I even gave 777 on it - same result.

Thanx in advance for any ideas.

Sounds like the "Immunix" security that comes bundled with Suse 10.0 is the bad guy here.

Here are a couple of links that might help point you in the right direction:

<= Immunix "Stackguard"

<= Immunix "SubDomain® Host Application Security Suite"

Thanx for the reply.

You are right, that is the bad guy.

Stopping boot.subdomain solves the problem.

I would rather have it more finetuned than stopped altogether but could not find any tool to do so.
(EditProfile would not start, and I do not feel competent enough for code messing.)

Help would be very appreciated.
