Unable to disable/reset time-out on screenlocker in opensuse 13.2 Gnome

Fresh install on a stock Dell Dimension 8770. 2G ram, 80G HDD. I cannot figure out how to reset the time-out, or disable the screenlocker. I went to software mgmt in YaST, but no joy. Any help?

Similar Problem Here

I have a similar problem on Lubuntu 14.04. Even though I right click on the XFCE power manager on the lxpanel and set Mode to Presentation, the screen will still first shut off and then lock me out.

I am aware that this time is changed by right clicking on the "XFCE Power Manager > Preference" and changing the values for both 'ON AC' and 'On Battery' for Actions/Monitor. However it is common sense that these values should not be the same for both Mode > Normal & Mode > Presentation.

This is really inconvenient during International phone calls using Skype, since as soon as I get locked out the other party can't hear me, and I can't hear them(and skype doesn't disconnect). This causes the other party to hang up.
