Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds.

I wanted to call this help for the printer networking challenged but thought the title could be better put. "Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds...ESPGhostscript 7.07 (2003-07-12)"> Device URI: smb://MYNET/Bonzo/dj722c
The above is the message I receive when attempting to print from CUPS on a NLD9 box to an HP Deskjet722C printer. The printer is attached to a dual boot Windows XP pro/NLD 9 system. I can print from the NLD9/windows xp pro box that is connected to the printer with a parallel cable. Printer sharing has been selected on the XP box. I can ping in either direction. Samba appears to be working. I've done this before with Mandrake Linux 10.0 however, I didn't have a clue as to how I did it. I tried so many things that I'm just not sure. It was my first experience with Linux. I'll keep searching however, some assistance would be wonderful. I've actually used two seperate documents to help me get Networking and Samba/CUPS set up. They are http://www.zzzzx.plus.com/websites/suse9.1/samba.html and
http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/1625.html. I point these out as they may be helpful to others and would also put someone on the same page as I am with regard to what I've done. Thanks very much.

Figured it out for myself. Thanks for letting me post this anyway.
