umount automounted media

I am trying to install Adobe CS4 via wine, and the installer gets to needing the second disc. It won't let me umount the original disc as it is still being used by an application. I am sure that in windows there is a signal being sent to the drive to eject, but that call is not being recognized by wine.

Anyway, when I open the tray on the drive and put the new disc in, I can't get the disc to mount.

Is there a way that I can force the system to umount the disc?

Is there a way that I can force the system to automount the new disc?

I have an OpenSuse 11 system with the latest wine build.

The umount -l (lazy) option tends to work well.
Code:
-l Lazy unmount. Detach the filesystem from the filesystem hierarchy now, and cleanup all references to the filesystem as soon as
it is not busy anymore. (Requires kernel 2.4.11 or later.)

I'm a little closer, but not close enough.

I can get the drive to eject using "wine eject d:"

When I insert the new disc the system won't mount the disc. It keeps returning an error saying that the drive is currently in use by an application or process.

When I quit the adobe installer the drive immediately mounts.

Is there a way to kill the process accessing the drive w/o killing the installer?

Alternately, is there a way to refresh the mount so that it recognizes the new disc in the drive?
