I never said they were related....I have 2 issues..Sound & Acpi

Just scroll down the forum list to see my post. I posted once before and got no help. I'm trying one more time. If no one can help, I'll just go out and buy Suse 10. Soo cheap anyway, and you get full service from Novell/Suse!! No BS. Only way to go.

when you say sound/acpi (slash) i see them being related, otherwise dont use the slash.

I have no sound even after configuring with YAST, and after an online update I

lost my ACPI.(Says, No pipeline, No soundcard found)(My Acpi says No events found, Daemon not running) I put all my help query log on here. Someone should be able to figure it out from that. Thanks, Doug

This website has proved to be worthless to me.
As you can clearly see LQ is an independant and entirely volunteer-driven community. People answer as they see fit. So sometimes it does take an indeterminable period of time to get a question answered. If your expectations of free (as in beer) support aren't met here you're free to discuss improving LQ in a sensible way or fork out cash hiring a local Linux guru or go somewhere else. A deliberately offending thread title is not constructive, it doesnt do you nor your fellow LQ members any good.

No no no no no no no no. You absolutely DO NOT draw attention to your thread by posting a "your site sucks" thread. Bow your head in shame.

This site is entirely volunteer staffed and run. Jeremy is unpaid, the moderators are unpaid and all of the members who kindly spend their spare time answering questions are unpaid. Absolutely no one is guaranteed an answer and should not expect one.

Your most recent thread is less than 24 hours old. Wait, our members live all over the world and many of them are in bed. Be patient. And stop double posting.
