Suspend2Disk & "Freeing memory..." how to do it faster?

Well, suspending to disk is fast enough when it only just copy memory to disk (like in windows), but in suse in 1st "free memory" and then only save to disk.

Speaking of waking up after s2d - it takes ages for the system to become responsible.

Is there any way to make the whole process faster?
how to configure no to free memory and make the system more responsible just after reading image from disk.

thanks!

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
