SUSE10 dual boot with XP

I read the sticky that says there is a problem dual booting SUSE/xp with version 9.xxx Is there the same problem with version 10??

Thanks in advance.

I have had no issues dual botting Suse 9.2 or 9.3 with Win XP - I think the problem only existed with 9.1

Save yourself some headache - install windows first.

Ditto, I just installed 10 on my laptop yesterday and it is coexisting with Windows XP SP2 quite nicely. Just a couple of things I noticed in my install.

1. Install Windows first

2. The default partitioning take a majority of the free space on the windows partition before it resizes. I had to modify this step to keep more windows free space since I need it for work and only need a 12Gb partition plus swap

3. The status bar doesn't always update correctly. It sat on 2% during the resize until windows was resized. Then it jumped to 95% and created the two new partitions. Be patient and just walk away as it resizes, otherwise you could hose your hard drive if you interrupt it.

4. If you have wireless with WPA-PSK, Suse 10 now supports it in YAST (HOORAY). I have a broadcom chipset, so I had to install ndiswrapper and set up the wlan0 device there first. Then configure it in YAST.

Hope this helps.
