SuSE Upgrade to 10.1 from 9.2

Hello all,

I'm currently running 9.2 on my desktop and I'd like to update to 10.1.

I'm a newbie. Is this a much better version then 9.2.

Ideas from experts out there would be appeciated.

BTW, would this mean a completely new install and if so how could I get my documents and other work (favorites) over to the new system.

Thanks.

Yes, it would be a complete re-install. Copy all your documents to the appropriately available backup medium of your choice (cd, dvd, hd), and use the export features of all applicable web browers and email programs to get copies of settings, addresses and favorites.
