Suse permission over window files
I installed Suse 9.1 and it works perfectly for a year now, except for one thing, that my Windows drives, that are mounted, I think, have one-way access. I can read them, read their content but I cannot place files onto them.
Does anyone have an advice? Best, k.acs |
1) You should convert your Hard disk from 'ntfs' to 'vfat' ...that would do your job... If you still have windows..try with 'Partition Magic'. (With linux that should be easy, I guess,.l..but i don't know how since i am new to linux).
OR 2) Create a new partition IN your 'ntfs' drive ..but make it 'vfat'. You can then move files from anywhere to this partition ..and from that partition to the 'ntfs'. |
