SuSE Linux Equivelent of Windows "Startup" Folder

Hey, I'm using SuSE Linux 9.1 Professional, and I have two programs I want to run when Linux starts up. In Windows, I accomplished this by putting shortcuts to them in the "Startup" folder of the start menu. Is there a way to do this in SuSE?
