the_gripmaster Member Registered: Jul 2004 Location: VIC, Australia Distribution: RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu Server, Ubuntu Posts: 364 Rep:	SuSE Linux 9.1 \| Grub fails with selection of default package I am having problems with grub when installing the default package of SuSE Linux 9.1. I am left with a grub> prompt when I try to install the "default package" option. It happens every time the unfinished setup comes back after the first reboot. I tried the safe settings option during installation: it did not work. However, when I install the "minimal package," grub works fine. Anyone encountered this kind of problems? What is the workaround? Thank you very much in advance.
