After quite some research here is what I have gathered:
SuSE 10 OSS: Only open source software + no technical support
SuSE 10 Eval: OSS + some closed source software + no technical support + no time limitation
SuSE 10 Retail: OSS + closed source software in Eval + closed source software not included in Eval + official technical support
My question:
Does the Eval version have any kind of screen or text or anything saying it is an Eval version?
Thanks in advance.

No, it does not have any screen like that, or any other limitation.
I believe they labeled "Eval", just to differentiate from the Retail version as explicitly as they can, i.e. why you should pay for the Retail version...
I bought the Retail version 9.2 PRO last winter. It was nice to have those books, but unless you run some kind of business or whatever, I think the iso is good enough. I never used any of the extra stuff, but then that's just me.
