Suse and wlan?

Hello,
I am sorry, this must be a frequent topic on the forum, but I can't find any info with search.

I am trying to get Suse 10.1 to work with a wlan connection. I have a D-link Air Plus G WLAN adapter. So far, I am getting nowhere.

Thanks for any help.

Which model number is it?
Have you check the HCL section here located at the top or to the right?

No, I didn't think of that. It is G510, http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/sh...t=2115&cat=133 .
The version is C2, and there is a relevant post in the HCL, but I didn't really understand it. Do I need ndiswrapper or madwifi?

Checking the link there are several drivers for that model depending on version. Post output of the command ' lspci ' with info on the card.

Looks like one chipset uses madwifi, another uses ralink. But all should be able to use ndiswrapper with the windows inf driver file. Ndiswrapper is a generic tool that uses the windows driver for a network card. Check out ralink and madwifi web sites to if they mention your card and exact version for further help.

lspci gives "bash: lspci: command not found"

My card is version C2, with firmware 5.00. I'll try with the sites you mentioned.

Thanks for taking the time.
