SUSE-9.3 hangs after loading services.

hello,

Pls refer to my ealier posts about "how do i know if system is 32bit or 64bit and about running 32bit apps on 64bit"

the problems im facing now is that when i install suse-9.3 pro it went smoothly but during startup it just stops at the login prompt with the msg "powersaved has failed to start at runlevel 5"

it happen all the time when i newly install suse.

any help here?

Can you post a link to that previous topic you made? It would be easier for us to refer to it if you did the linking.

As for the powersave not loading, you should disable it. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that. There's some startup file that loads all the startup services and you just need to edit that file. Go post in Linux-Software and people will tell you immediately what file to edit and how to pull out that powersave service.
