Suse 9.3 Cron.Daily

Ok i have created a script for my backup program (Mondo) that automatically backsup to a seperate harddrive and from there i can choose to burn them and restore the system. It usually generates 3 iso files being the total space used on the system is about 10 gigs not including the backup drive and the tmp folder.

I have tested the script and it complety runs through all the way. I have tried adding it to crontab to run every night at 12. Come in the next day nothing. I finally read something about the cron.daily folder and decided to add it in there and touch the folder for 12. All that worked perfectly. I came in the next day and all that was there was one ISO only 2.7gigs. So something is kicking it out before it can complete. Is there a timeout on the cron.daily folder??

Thanks

Kevin Litchholt

There isn't a limit on the cron.daily folder. Can you write some status messages out to a log or email so that you can see how far the script gets?
