Hello- I'm running openSuse version 12.1 with a Netgear wireless router 614 and a Netgear WG111v3 adapter. I also dual boot with Windows Vista. I can't get the adapter to connect to the internet. I used ndiswrapper and grabbed the rt8187 driver from Windows and it is installed. I have networkmanager installed, I have the firmware installed also. It reports that it has signal but it won't ping anything but the Netgear router number, 192.168.1.42. Obviously I have it set up wrong somewhere. I have read everything I can find and have made progress but no the prize. Could someone please lead me to the finish line?
