SuSE 10 Mythtv guide

Hi I'm having a problem finding a guide... I was following this

But wondering if im better off building from source.. cause I have alot of depencies problems such as downgrading my kde 3.5 back to kde 3.4.... currently using SuSE 10.0

IIRC Suse 10 comes with KDE 3.4, so it sounds more like your example dependency problem is more alinuxnoob related than it is Suse related.

Yes, you have to rememberthat those RPMs are based on 10.0 as shipped, not what you have after tinkering. I installed mythtv on 10.0 yesterday using the directions from that site and it came right up and worked first time.
