Unhappy Suse 10 Laptop Sound Card "No Device Found/No Pipeline"

Please help guys! I only have one problem with my installation. My Ali M5451 Sound card will not configure. It also used a Trident driver. I have no sound, and anytime I try anything, I get an error message. When I try to configure using Yast Sound Configurer, I click Install fast/or normal and get an error message that it will not load due to incorrect parameters - I/O - IRQ. I also get Device does not exist errors. Any Ideas??? Tired of no sound. What can I do with written commands on the Super user Terminal. Supposedly I'm missing a /dev/ file.....

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
