SuSe 10 install - Nagios -> Now what?
 

Greetings.

i just swiched over to SuSe 10.0 DVD (Yahoo!). I installed nagios from yast(Love it) and now im kinda.....what to do next :scratch:

I am a newbie but i thought there would be something to config...nagios.conf?

Can someone throw me a bone?

Have you looked in /etc/nagios for configuration files? I don't really know much about nagios, but when I look at the rpm ('rpm -ql nagios'), the config files are written to this directory.

I did try the config but there must be an easier way. I tried to install
nagios-nagat but the config files were all in the wrong places and nothing work. Also the developers are no longer modifying it.

Anyone else out there has any ideas?

Update:

I did have to run the make on the file. Doh!

now it appears i have a rights permission issue. Ill keep hammering on it so that newbies like myself have a headsup for next time.
