Suse 10 freezes on startup "Disabling IP forwarding"

Hi

I have an Opensuse 10.0 system installed with 'ECS Intel 845GV chipset' for the graphics with this pc

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=89079

I have recently put in a 64mb mx400 gfx card, and disabled onboard graphics in the bios, but upon booting Suse , It gets to "disabling ip forwarding" (it says DONE by it) and then freezes. When booting failsafe suse, it freezes at "Restore device permissions".Can anyone suggest what I should do?
