SUSE 10.3, Time problem!
 

I had 10.3 installed when it first came out but it was buggy, at least in my mind.
I downloaded and installed the live version last night and tried to set it up today.
From the "Live" disk I chose "install" and went through the configuration process. Everything seemed to go Ok except that there are sometimes notations about being a live version.

Any way, I have a small problem that is driving me nuts! The time! Now I'm sure there is some very easy way to go from "Military" time, the 24 hour clock to standard time such as EST that I am on! But I have left/right clicked on the dam time symbol for an hour and can't find out how to switch it from a 24 hour clock to a standard clock.
What is the secret?

I have not tried the "Live" version and I do not know if it behaves the same way as my "install' version. Also, you did not say if you are using KDE or Gnome.

In KDE, you should be able to right-click on the time displayed in the taskbar, then select Date & Time Format. Select the Time & Dates tab and for am/pm time choose time format pH:MM:SS:AMPM. I believe you must restart your session for this change to display!

In Gnome, try a right-click on the date and time displayed and select preferences. On clock option tab, choose the 12 hour format.
