Suse 10.2 Win key maps it like start menu...i want to change it..how
 

I upgraded to suse 10.2 from 10.1
Now this one maps the win key to the Gnome Main menu..
I dont like this and want to free the Win key from Suse gnomes hold...to make it possibel for other shortcut combinations..How to do it?

try googling.
go to the system controlpanel thing (can't remember what exactly its called, its on the main menu though)
click keyboard shortcuts
scroll down through the list until you see one that is assigned to the menu that you don't want and clear it.

these instructions are a bit fuzzy, but you should be able to more or less follow them.

but theres no option in keyboard shortcuts in suse 10.2 gnome mapping win key
even if i associate any other shortcuts like Win+D to show desktop it doesnt work atall
