Firstly, I'm a n00b and need help!

I've recenly just come over to Linux from Windows. I have installed FC5 but it's running extremely slow and I can't figure out the problem. So, I'm going to give Suse 10.1 a bash, but I have no idea if I should I download the 64bit ISO's or not? And I really don't know the difference. If anyone could direct me to a thread or site that has some usefull info, it would be much appreciated. Or if anyone could tell me, that would be even better.

Oh, I have an AMD ATHONLON64 3200+ CPU.

You indeed have an x86_64 processor so I'd use 64 bit iso's. 32 bit applications will run in this environment but all kernel related such as drivers must be 64 bit. I'm running 10.1 x86_64 to respond to your post. Just to be accurate I must add that you can run a 32 bit kernel successfully on your system but don't see a need to.
