Packman not working....

When I try to add the packman sources it says:

"Signature check failed"
How should I add the Packman sources?

I went to http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:ZEN-Updat...roblem_in_10.1 and followed the instructions there, to try and get a mirror listed in installation source in Yast (in SUSE 10.1), and then list it YOU. It failed because the installation source window would just hang when I pressed "finish" after it listed the mirror (after a long wait for "adding catalog"). I therefore never could get YOU to list the updates, let alone use the zen updater.
Smart is the only thing I have been able to get to list the content of a mirror, but I don't understand the way it is listed. I can't make sense of whether a listed .rpm is an update or not by using the smart --gui, except by clicking through them one at a time and reading descriptions below. Is there a decent guide somewhere to interpret the smart interface (because I can't make Yast or zen work at all)?

Zenworks Questions

Why did Novel start peddling the Zenworks dinosaur again ? Yast Online Update (YOU) wasn't broken.

I tried out 10.1, and it seems to be a CPU and internet "hog".

There is a mount selection in the zen-updater config menu, but can't get zen-updater to use the local repositories (local server mirror folder on a DVD, no internet access will be available). It just sits there and grounds away. Is there a fix for this ?
