SUSE 10.0 major troubles!

No network detection during install (would not detect my cable connection that is working on my box w/9.3), missed binutils.rpm & hwinfo.rpm during install (retail version) nothing seems to be working right. Am I the only one? I have bad luck, but this is something else. 9.2 & .3 No Problems. I really have enjoyed the SUSE distro and will figure this out but ready for the "DESKTOP USER" so far, I think not. I have downloaded the missing rpm's and installed them and also have configured the network connection for now... I guess I just want to know if anyone else is having any problems as well.

Sorry just venting.
++UPDATE++
All of my desktop icons open the application twice (with a single click)?
++UPDATE.2++
"All audio drivers failed to load" with use of any audio player?
++UPDATE.3++
Never mind, I take it ALL back. I did a complete reinstall and everything works great now! Very smooth operation. Sorry for the lashing out lastnight!
SUSE 10.0 Rocks! I downloaded and burned CD1 and used it instead of the one that I had and all was better.

I just upgraded from 9.3 to 10.0 retail from Novell. My box had some non-SuSE applications curtosy of guru, openoffice.org and mozilla.org. All considered it went well. Most works well, including my Comcast cable connection -- automatically. I haven't tried view DVDs yet and expect some issues in that area. The mount point for the Palm docking station changed from 9.3's /dev/usb/ttyUSB1 to /dev/ttyUSB1.

Not very helpful "My Audio drivers don't load with Audio Player" -- you need to specify WHAT you are using for an audio player to start with -- is it the SUSE system default player or something you installed from the web with 9.3

You also need to ensure that to play audio your user is added to the group AUDIO.

Assuming you want to play DVD's as well (you'll need to get Libdvdcss and DVD playing software --loads of info on this board) add yourself to the DISK group as well as 10.0 creates symbolic links for /dvd, /dvdrecorder etc to /dev/hdg etc depending on how many hard disks / partitions and CD/DVD devices you have.

You'll get much more help if you give details rather than just saying XXX doesn't work .

Cheers
