SPident is not working


Hi All,

In one of my linux machines I am not able to run SPident command. It is returning with below error.

:~ # SPident
/usr/bin/SPident: line 26: use: command not found
/usr/bin/SPident: line 28: $: command not found
/usr/bin/SPident: line 28: =: command not found
/usr/bin/SPident: line 886: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `''
/usr/bin/SPident: line 978: syntax error: unexpected end of file


I am attaching here the script from /usr/bin/

SPident, line 3 :
Try to identify Service Pack Level based on installed packages.

Running SPident : $ perl SPident.txt

The output I get is
Code:
Summary               (using 2019 packages)
Product/ServicePack     conflict        match  update      (shipped)
Unknown                            2019  100%                       


CONCLUSION: No supported Product/ServicePack found at all!
