Smbfs Nfs Splash (HELP)

Serious problem here... While I'm trying to boot Suse 10.0, when it gets to the part where it loads KDE, it says SMBFS NFS SPLASH and won't load. Then, when I log in and try to go into KDE manually, it says something like display error. Please help. I've installed suse again and it still won't work... I'm out of ideas.

Welcome to LQ!

Please be a little more specific on the error message. I assume you get something like "Failed services in runlevel 5: Smbfs Nfs Splash". Try to login as root and type 'init 3' and then 'sax2' to get to the graphics configuration.
