SLES 11 SP 2 Updates and Patches

Hi guys,

I have a server connected to nu.novell.com repo (online update). I am planning to make it as a repo server for other servers (download updates and patches first without installing them)

From other server (as client), I created a repo which pointing to repo server above (http type).

Once all updates and patches downloaded, from repo server (connected to nu.novell.com):

1. I can see available updates is 355 (via command zypper lu)
2. I can see 302 patches (via command zypper pchk or zypper lp)

From client (connected to repo server via http):
1. I can see available updates is 355 (via command zypper lu) which is same as repo server. This is correct.

2. I can see 'No updates found.' (via command zypper lp) and '0 patches needed (0 security patches)' (via command zypper pchk)

Why does it like that?
