SLED10 and DivX...

Hi!

Can someone please point me into the right direction on how to setup my SLED10 box to be able to play DivX movies. I would also like to know for some repos with addon software like mplayer, xine, audacity, avidemux...

Thank you!

Hi!
I am using SLED 10 x86_64, follow this link:

http://wiki.suselinuxsupport.de/wikk...PackageManager

and install Smart Package Manager, first Smart, Smart-gui and then Smart-addon. When you run Smart for the first time, it will add repos, just say yes to all of them, Smart will enable the correct ones. I use Smart for all updates, if I use Yast it will try to install "old" files, asking for CD# each time, I ignore that and don't use the "install-update" programs. I use ONLY Smart, it works just fine and I have been able to get Kaffeine to play Windows media-files and mpeg and also MP3's, w32-codec are among the repos. Check this link also, very useful:

http://spinink.net/suse-for-windows-users/

I hope this will help you
