SLED 10 - DVD RAM recordings work fine too

After installing the DVD playing "Hacks" for SLED 10 I just want to report that if you have a DVD-RAM device in your computer and you want to play movie you've recorded with a DVD-RAM recorder such as a Panasonic DVD Recorder it will play just fine.

However don't start kaffeine from the menu ==scroll down the file on the DVD-RAM device until you get the movie file -- callled something like xxxx.rtav or similar --you'll see it as a typical movie recorded from say SKY TV at LP is around 2.5 GB. Just double click and the movie will play.

I like a DVD-RAM recorder as it will actually let you watch a movie from any point you like (or even a previous recording) while AT THE SAME TIME recording something else.

Also if you copy a file from one of those SKY PLUS boxes (SKY TV in the UK) which have an an integral hard disk to a DVD-RAM piece of media.you can also play it on SLED10 --and you can play the movie as many times as you like.

Cheers
