In 9.1, I used YaST. I don't have a SUSE system to test on at the moment, but YaST should be able to lead you through it.

Thanks very much for your help.
By the way were do you put the Firefox Plugins?
I'am mainly a Fedora user , but Novell is putting Suse in our schools here in Indiana and I want to learn how to use it.
These Distro's are all putting the files in different places and under different names, when you go from one distro to
the other , boy is it confusing.

Each user directory has a .mozilla/plugins directory where individual plugins are stored that will survive a FireFox upgrade.

Probably for a school though, you'll want to update the main firefox/plugins directory.

Remember that libjavaplugin_oji.so is a symbolic link to wherever your current java libary is, perhaps /usr/java/jre1.5.0/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
