Sentences cut off
I installed a new LCD 20" Westinghouse monitor on my system and it worked fine. I had a weird problem with Suse not detecting any harddrives and that was a loose wiring situation. After that I been having a heck of a time with fonts. I don't think any of this has to do with font issue. I think its a FF issue. Paragraphs get cut off. I increase or decrease fonts and it helps in some instances and hurts others. For instance at the top of this page "Know Linux?" The bottom line saying "Openings available, Apply!" is cut in half. I've tried different resolutions. Nothing helps. Any ideas?
Have you tried adjusting the monitor's physical display size (ie, adjusting the width and height via the control buttons on the front of the monitor?) In other words, is the problem that the window borders exceed the display's size, or is that the window borders are appropriate, but the image within the window is scrolling horizontally?

I got it fixed. I just had to keep trying different resolutions and fonts. Long time trial and error. This monitor isn't listed yet in YAST's data base. No Westinghouse at all. It says it adjusts itself, it did a great job on Windows but it's seat of pants on Suse.
