SD card mounting and writing problem

Hi there,

I've problem using SD card on my 2 Lenovo notebook, everytime I insert the card nothing happens, I must remove and insert the 2nd time then I will see the pop up and can use the card, but still I could not delete or copy file to it, it said read only file system, I tried different card the same problem, but the same card is fully accessible via an USB adapter. My notebook is new and has no problem on windows, there is something wrong with OpenSuse to work with the SD slot, any idea ?

Are you manually mounting it, or do you wait for it to auto-mount?

After it gets mounted read-only, could you post the output of
Code:
mount
Also, what filesystem is the card formatted with? Since you use Windows, it should be either FAT or NTFS. FAT shouldn't be a problem, but NTFS might.

Which part should I post it is quite a long list.
And btw the SD mounting auto starts Shotwell I think this could be the reason, but I don't know how to dis-associate Shotwell with SD mounting, the setting/yast thing is quite confusing too they do similar things...

The lines we need are the ones that have
Code:
/dev/(something)
in them.

I'm not familiar with Shotwell, so I can't help you there, but we may be able to work around it.
