Root partition out of drivespace after backup

After running the backup from yast2 ( SLES8), and canceling it halfway through, the root partition went from only 5% used to 100%.
Any idea where I can find the humungus file it created and delete it?

Problem solved. It creates .gz files in the /tmp dir.
