Hi all

I got Suse 10.1 off the c't DVD, read many threads about zen rug and update problems. I have a number of suse boxes physical and virtual (xen). I'd like to update them offline.

What I did:
1. downloaded .../update/10.1 directory
2. rczmd start
3. rug sl
after some time of rolling thumbs...

No patches found.

Where is the problem, why can't I get offline updates?

so the 'service' is there, and if I do a yast sw_single, I can install software

Meanwhile I got some success:

rug mount with option -r makes the catalogs searchable, same if I do a rug ref:

There must be some way to teach zmd where to look for patches that I am unaware...
