radio card works.. final step help needed...

hi there

I'm not a total Linux newbie, but this is my first tryout of Suse I've installed Suse 10.0 and finally (after a fair few problems) have it all working.

I have installed ndiswrapper to get my Broadcom radio card working and have followed the excellent instructions at sourceforge to the letter.

My kernel is installed, ndiswrapper installed, correct XP drivers installed and as far as I can see it is working! The output from iwlist wlan0 scan and from iwconfig wlan0 are posted below. My computer is a compaq presario laptop and the radio network light now lights up and as you can see below my radio AP is recognised (essid - 'nerdnet@no5'). this all comes on at boot-up and I'm ready to go.... BUT

I'm not able to surf the 'net! Both webbrowsers tell me that they can't connect. Mozilla Firefox is set to "direct connection to the Internet" but isn't connecting. Yes my WEP key is correct (I've checked it twice!), so what am I doing wrong?? I think I've done everthing correctly, but suspect that I have missed out some final step somwhere. Any ideas folks??

Thanks
adrian

That is what the "disable smilies in text" check box is for that being said I have no clue on your problem.

Thanks for that Stephen. :-)

I'll re-post in the wireless network section and see if I can get some help there.
