Pysol sound problem (64-bit)

I have installed ver 10.0 twice now, first as a network install, then from a DVD, both 64-bit installs. After doing all the updates, I followed the steps given by the Jemreport for hacking 10.0. As a result my sound card, SB Live 5.1, can play real audio and MP3 files, as well as system sounds. However, when playing Pysol, I hear the sound of shuffling cards at the very beginning, then nothing but noise. The music does not play. I ran alsaconf but the results were the same. Tried a search on this problem and discovered I may need to install a pysol-sound-server. Does anyone know if this is correct, and where I can find an .rpm file. Not good at compiling and wouldn't know where to start. BTW, I'm now running 32-bit Suse 10.0 and all sound applications work including pysol.

Thanks much,
J.

Hi,
I to am a Pysol fan but on the 32 bit version..I think you do need to install the sound server..I think I went to packman to get it but I might be wrong..maybe someone else can help you for the 64 bit version if it is needed..
PS that was on version 10.0 but was unable to find it for 10.1..
goodluck,
jolphil
