Putting suse 9.1 supplementary on DVD

I have a nack for destroying my Suse install. To save myself from the overnight rebuild becuase of a slow internet connection, I copied all the supplementary files and 9.1 upgrade onto a DVD. (downloaded it from mirror.mcs.anl.gov using works T3)

Does anyone know how to format that onto a DVD so that YaST2 can read the disc and allow for an upgrade/install from a DVD?

I have made a tree on the DVD with 9.1, KDE, Gnome and misc.

Each of these directories contain the content and directory.yast files. then I created the subdirecties just like the ftp site has them.

ie.. /9.1/suse/i586 /9.1/suse/i686 /9.1/suse/setup etc..

When inside of YaST, I can map the directories fine in the define source, and it will allow me to select the packages to install inside the load applications section.

It resolves conflicts and dependencies fine.

When it comes to actually copying the files from the DVD to the local hard drive, it tells me that the files just cannot be found. Am I missing something, or just putting the files onto the DVD in the wrong directory structure.

I would love to purchase the software at some point. I just don't have the $100+taxes to get 9.2 right now.

Any help appreciated.
