problem with first time login in SuSE 9.3
 
ok im very new to linux and i have problem with my first login... I have no idea what my username and password are cause i was never told to specify any of this data in the install process for suse 9.3... is there some universal login the everyone does at the beginning so that they can create more users or something?? ill go and try to install it again just to make sure i didnt do something wrong but any help would be appreciated, thank you

In a 'normal' setup process, you should have been asked to create a user after the first reboot. Didn't you create a root password either?

Try to login as 'root' and leave the password blank. If this doesn't work, you may need to run the installation again.
