problem figuring out the Edimax wireless hi-gain USB Adapter

Hi, were recomended to this site by a friend, my problem is that i cant seems to run the Edimax USB adapter on my Linux Suse 9.3, but it is working fine with my the windows XP. (have both suse and xp on the same laptop.

Well, as a first step, click on the HCL button at the top of the screen and search for "Edimax." There a several ones listed, but - since you neglected to specify your model name and number - I can't tell if any of those entries apply to your adapter.

Have you looked at the Edimax web site to see if they provide any Linux drivers for your device?

Have you searched for references to to Edimax in the forums? (The search button is also at the top of the screen, in the same bar as the HCL button.)
