pidgin for Suse 9.3

Guys, is there any site who provides pidgin for Suse 9.3 in rpm?
Or a pidgin compile-from source guide its also a OK.

It's probably so new that it's not included in SuSE 9, and I doubt if they make packages for it. Why not just build it from the source; download it from Pidgin (.tar.gz), extract, read README and INSTALL files, make sure you have the libs/other software installed mentioned there and follow the steps in INSTALL to compile it. This assumes you have installed binutils, compiler packages etc. but that's not difficult, if you don't have them, have yum get them.

Compiling it shouldn't take long if you read README and INSTALL carefully trough.

Took me three hours to do that tonite, and when I was done there was nothing in the Desktop GUI menus, the file which I assume is the executable does nothing, and if it isn't the executable I have no idea where the executable is because the documentation is, as usual, very secretive about the basics (like how to run the program!).
