PHP session support in SuSe 9.2 distro?

Hi

I am a Newbie to Linux tring to use SuSe 9.2 to run a Content Management System (ezPublish3) on a server with MySQL and PHP. The installation script tells me that I need to recompile PHP without the "--disable-session" switch set.

Can anyone confirm that the version of PHP shipped with SuSe 9.2 does have this switch set. If so what do I (a Linux novice) need to do to get a working PHP installation which allows session support?

Thanks

Replying to my own thread for the benefit of others who may have the same question.

Apparently session support can be installed as follows through a terminal under root:

yast -i php4-session

Let's see if it works.

Regards

enable PHP session support

By the way, that command did not work. Did you find a solution? Can you post it here? Thanks.
