If I download the LiveCD of OpenSuse 11 to install on my laptop will that give me a minimal installation? Can I still use Yast to download applications I want?
I don't have a DVD burner to burn the DVD version.

If you install the OS and KDE or gnome yes ,what I mean is without the ADD ONS
During installation Suse try to make connect to the suse server to build up the repositorys
