opensuse10 installation screenshots
Hello,
What is the command to take installation screenshots for Suse ? Thanks Varun |
A digital camera?
As far as i know as the system is in a partial state of install there wouldn't be any functionality in place to take screenshots, where would you save them if the partitions aren't even setup? |
You could run the installation in vmware and take the screenshots from the host system. In KDE, ksnapshot can do this.

In fedora setup you use shift + print-screen keys
for install time screenshots. For Mandriva it is alt+f2. So what it is for Suse ? Varun |
check http://www.suse.de/~sh/yast2/screen-shots/
in short : Hit [PrintScreen]. |
[QUOTE=varun_saa;2070989]Hello,
What is the command to take installation screenshots for Suse ? Hi, What I do is to hit the Print Screen key. In the installation phase from Configuration (from root PW and onwards), the screenshots are stored on /. The phase before Configuration, the screenshots are stored i /root/yast2-screen-shots, but I never succeeded finding them.... ;) firak |
