OpenSuse10.2 -The process for the sysinfo protocol died unexpectedly

After upgrading from OpenSuse 10.1 to 10.2 I have problems with sysinfo:/

regardless of using it from the "My Computer" icon on the desktop or typing sysinfo:/ in the address of Konquer, I get the same results:

An error occurred while loading sysinfo:/:
The process for the sysinfo protocol died unexpectedly.

using :
cat /var/log/messages | grep sysinfo

Dec 24 22:26:33 linux kernel: Process kio_sysinfo (pid: 15092, ti=c4112000 task=c338e150 task.ti=c4112000)

What should I do to identify the cause fix this?

Thanks in advance

You might try: rpm -V kdebase3
Maybe the kio_sysinfo.la or kio_sysinfo.so files were corrupted.
