openSUSE 11.1, ncpmount with passwd file and fstab

I'm trying to mount a netware volume from openSUSE. The following command works from the terminal.

#: ncpmount -S server -U 'user.context' -A server_dns /mnt

when I try to use a passwdfile=file I can not seem to get it to work

I'm following the instructions from this link: http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/trench/16445.html

Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
